Account

Checkout does not require an account. Orders are kept either way. My account is for people who set a password. Enter an email and this shop sends a one-time link. That link sets the password and creates the account. The message is sent for this shop through DropOS. A signed-in account can edit the name, email, and phone, keep United States shipping addresses, and see orders placed at this shop. Card numbers and PayPal accounts are not stored. Billing is handled at checkout. Signing out ends the session on this browser. It does not delete orders. The session cookie is ds_shopper. It holds a token, not the password.

Cart and theme

A separate cookie, ds_cart, keeps the cart on this browser. It holds a token, not a card number. A cookie, ds_theme, remembers light or dark on this browser. It does not change the look the shop saved. A cookie, ds_sort, remembers a product sort you choose, such as lowest price, on this browser.

Newsletter

The address you enter stays pending until you open the confirmation link in the email. Until then it is not a subscription. The company that operates this shop can see the address and whether it is confirmed.

Notes

A note from the contact page stores the name, email, and message for this shop. It does not place an order. The company that operates this shop can read it.

Orders and payment

Checkout asks you to pay this shop through the shop’s own Stripe account or PayPal account. DropOS does not charge its own account. If the shop has not connected the account you choose, checkout refuses that payment. A charge is recorded only after the payment provider confirms it. After that, the shop places the supplier order and stores its id. If the supplier order fails, the payment stays recorded and the order stays visible. Tracking is shown when a tracking number is stored. The storefront does not promise a delivery date.

The email entered at checkout is saved with that cart. If the cart still has items and has been quiet for at least an hour, the company operating this shop can send one email about those items. That email does not add a discount.

Analytics

If the shop has saved a Google Analytics measurement id, the storefront loads that script.
